The hottest time of the year. Green becomes yellow. The dominance of the Sun is to be respected! Immortelle blossoms, the grapes are ripening, the scent of the sea entices. Our island has took on its most appealing attire. It is easy to love the island during the summer yet many motifs do not get noticed because of the harsh Sun or the large traffic jams which hinder your movement or exploration of the nature. Exploration of the vast landscapes and stony architecture of our island is best left for other seasons. However, the sunny weather and blue skies are your constant companions. The sea invites you to take a swim. Sun umbrellas, enjoyable shades, the ships, the fruit – these are typical motifs of summer. The scent of pine trees beneath the hot Sun and enjoying the shades they create – these depict the Medi-terranean way of life quite nicely. This is the season of pleasures!
